Information on your device
Free written chat and stored Bible lookup run on-device. Draft conversations, saved studies, prayers, journal entries, bookmarks, and reading preferences may be kept in the app’s local storage. Signing out does not necessarily erase that account’s device library. Use the deletion controls before sharing a device.
Account and cloud services
When you use an enabled account or backup feature, account information and the recent data selected for cloud backup are processed by our backend hosted with Hostinger. This may include recent chats and journal or library records. The larger device library and cloud backup are distinct; deleting one does not automatically remove every other copy.
Passwords in the current account system are hashed. Native sign-in tokens use protected device storage; web account sessions may use an HttpOnly cookie. Journals and chats are not end-to-end encrypted.
Optional AI conversation
When you choose an enabled AI conversation, your submitted messages and relevant conversation history are sent to OpenAI to generate and check answers. Free-chat content is not automatically transferred to AI. Journal entries are not sent to AI by the journaling feature. Anything you choose to paste into AI chat is part of that submitted message.
Do not include information you do not want processed by the selected online service. AI processing is separate from the free on-device guidance.
Voice
Optional voice input uses the device or browser speech service, which may process audio online under its own terms. The app does not save audio recordings. Review the transcript before sending it; sent text follows the same processing as typed messages. Spoken replies use device text-to-speech.
Recorded Bible audio
When you choose recorded Bible audio, the app streams the selected recording from its listed source provider. That provider receives the network request, including your IP address and technical request information. Recordings are not automatically included in the app download. Stored text and free chat remain available without a network connection; audio streaming needs one.
Website visits and support
Our hosting and website services may process IP addresses, browser information, request times, and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. WordPress uses cookies for functions such as administrative sign-in. These pages do not require an app login. When you email us, we receive your address and the information you include and use it to respond to and manage your request.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide requested features, keep accounts secure, process support and deletion requests, troubleshoot problems, and manage service usage. Where billing becomes available, purchase verification records may be needed to administer access and prevent receipt reuse. We do not sell personal journal or conversation content.
Advertising
The current test app does not load an advertising SDK. Advertising may support free features in a future release. This policy and the app’s privacy choices will be updated before advertising is enabled. Private journal entries, prayer notes and chat messages are not supplied for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Device records remain until removed through the app, device controls, or uninstalling, subject to any device backup behavior. Cloud history can be removed using the available app controls or an account-deletion request. Hosting backup retention is separate from active-database deletion, so deletion from the active service is not a promise that all backup copies disappear immediately.
Limited non-content records may remain for security, accounting, purchase verification, or legal obligations. Anonymous usage totals do not contain deleted message text. Contact us for the retention details applicable to your account or a request to access, correct, export, or delete your information. We will explain any information that must be retained when handling your request.
Your choices
You can use available free tools without sending a conversation to AI, control optional backup where offered, export available personal records, and request deletion. See Delete account & data. Other device copies and exports you created must be handled separately.
